? Can JDM gauges fit an American FD

If you take the gauge cluster (speedo, tach, etc) out of an imported RHD, could you easily plug it into the wire harness of a US car, replacing the MPH scale with KMs?
I think it should work, but does anyone have first hand knowledge of these FD models to confirm?

John did you buy a FD?
I can't see why not if your replacing just the gauges?

I was going to say? John, you picked up an FD?
Cluster is a cluster. It'll work regardless of it being rhd or lhd. The hard part is actually getting to it. Otherwise swapping it out is piece of cake

No, I didn't buy anything. Just shopping... and curious if the miles to km swap was possible.
Just wanted to be sure LHR and RHD clusters attach the same way.
Thanks

Yes It will work as mentioned previously. I swapped out my cluster from my 93 Efini to a Canadian version and it worked flawlessly. Only issue you will have is breaking those fragile clips that hold the dash altogether.
