spent all my money and car is still slow (84 gslse)
i have a 84 gslse mazda rx7, i recently put in new ingnition coils and put a full racing beat muffler system including headers. The car acclerates slowly and misses alot. I timed it 0-60 and it was aprox 10sec, could have been high 9s. What could be wrong with my car?

Check your grounds and connections.
My car feels much better after putting new grounds and new battery terminals on.

Its actually the aux ports not the secodaires that usually seize up. I doubt its the problem because your ignition is missing.

front coil is the trailing... the T on the cap
rear coil is the leading... the L on the cap
front rotor. T1 is top farthest towards the front spark plug.... L1 is the lowest farthest towards the front spark plug....
rear rotor... T2 is the top most farthest back spark plug. T1 is the lowest most farthest back spark plug.
the front rotor is considered 1... the rear rotor is considered 2....
T could mean TOP
L could mean LOWER
T1 T2
L1 L2
if your plug wires arent crossed, check the coil connection..... replace the spark plugs if you havent... or at least check for a good gap....
hope this helps....

injectors..........
I had my injectors cleaned and flow tested, got rid of my 20yr old vacuum and fuel hoses, (used F.I. rated fuel hose), and replaced the pulsation damper, since it was leaking gas on the engine....
big difference..............

My SE started to miss really bad. It kept getting worse and worse and I couldn't figure it out. I finally found out one day on accident. There was a bad plug wire. It still had current going through it but not much. There was an arc between the wire and a coil. I saw it by accident when I had the hood up. I ended up just converting to direct fire and the problem was gone since I also changed plug wires. The car runs so much better. I had checked fuel lines, pump, injectors, changed the cap and rotor and coils but never bothered to look at wires. I wish I had before I spent alot of money.

you mentioned that you put a header/exhaust on, is the system for a 6-port? just checking because if there is no tube to actuate the actuators you get no 6-P.I. action, won't make it miss though...

my gsl-se was missing like crazy, idle was horrible. turns out all i needed to do was change an igniter, and it purrs like a kitten now. unfortunately now that it's all fixed up, i need some money so i'm putting it up for sale. if anyone's interested contact me. probably gonna put it on ebay within a week or 2 since no one has made any serious attmepts of purchasing
-check your timing
-check plugs to see if they are dirty (will cause misses) clean them if they are dirty.
-check all throttle body adjustments
-check all wires and cap+rotor, replace is necessary
-check to see if actuators open at apprx 4,000 rpm
-change fuel filter if it's time
-check your trottle senor (which is the cause for backfires as I came to find out)
But it's your plugs most likely
