Should i fix it or burn the car!
Whoops, sorry, I thought I read $300 for the car, which would have been about right for a rust bucket.
Anyway, that carb and manifold is a good start on recovering some of your investment by either parting it out or transplanting into a decent shell, if you can find such a think up there in Salt Land.

Yes the bottom one I was looking at I am emailing him to see what kind of rust it has. The other ones are already done there would be no point of swapping those engines out.
The rust doesn't look super bad but would need to be fixed. If your hiring this out, a shell swap will probably be cheaper. Sometimes when it comes to rust and you hire it out they quote you one price and as the job progresses it's worse then expected and ends up costing more. If you do buy a shell, make sure it's not rusted so your not in the same situation.

Where are you located in MN? I'm in the Cambridge area and have a few years of experience with these cars. If you'd like I can come out and look at the car some weekend you're available and give you my honest opinion. You said it has a body kit on it? I have every Fri-Sun off - let me know if you want me to come out.
From the pictures and your description:
That rust is terrible. Going to be effecting the structural integrity of the car soon if it isn't already. Wasn't washed enough after being driven on the salty MN roads here during the winter and doesn't look to be properly cared for in other regards. If you're seriously considering getting into these cars look into getting that Transformers-inspired Bumblebee clone yellow and black car. Doesn't look to be too terrible of a car. Parting these cars out is a pain in the a$$ - that's for sure. You won't get much money (if any) in parting it out even though it's a GSL. Only things that add value to that would be the power window parts and the rear end.
Again, I'll come hang out with you and look at the car if you'd like - I've had 3 FB's and an FC so far.

I just got a email from the guy with the yellow mazda rx7 he says there is a little surface rust but the frames are still solid. But the interior is missing pieces so it will cost me to but parts in but I can take some from my car. What do you guys think good deal or pass?

So you buy a 31 year old car and expect to not constantly find something to fix? Time to man up!
1.Fix the rust!
2.Find a new headliner
3.Fix the bins
4.Find new tail lights
5.New headlight motors
6.Wire brush and spray the under carriage with rubberized undercoating
Not trying to be a dick head, but if you buy an old car expect to dump thousands into it over the course of many years to get it right. So always have a daily driver!

Yeah but sometimes it is better to car it quits on your rust bucket and find a better shell I know nothing about rust repair and welding and I don't want to start. I would much rather get a nice shell to transfer to.
^^^You should buy a Kia. You can buiy one NEW for $200/mon. And all your freinds will be like "AWWW SHIZZZT Check out you new whip!!!". and you won't have to learn how to fix anything because of the warrente.
