Rota RKR wheel sizes

thinking about buying a set of RKRs size 15" by 8" with -10mm offset. anyone tried these out and if so how did they fit under the fender without flares. did your roll your fenders. Any suggestions about -20mm offset or konig rewinds?

edit: 4x110 on an 83 year

15x7 20mm is generally the go to size for 15" wheels. The 8" might work in the back, I don't know. However, 8" might rub in the front. A 195 is a safe tire size for the front. Some run a 205 but have a little rub on the sway bar and lip. I'm not a fan of rolled lips. 205 will work in the back though.

Rewind is the only affordable option we have for these cars, I'm not paying 1000$ for fake mesh rims unless it's 3 pieces and those are almost 2 grand. I'm not complaining, I got my rewinds new, all four for 250$.

I refuse to pay 1000$ for knock off mesh rims even if they look good , plus most of them are used . 3pc mesh rims are sweet but as noted , seem to cost 2000$+
In my brutal opinion almost ALL 4x110 rims are ugly AF aside from OG watanabe rims , those look amazing . If i could put some modern rims on this car I would the issue is clearance even if you have the GSLSE bolt pattern ( alot more options) , I'm not a fan of wheels sticking out past the car for more than a inch. The nicest looking wheels I have seen are those cool american racing steelies , with a nice 1 inch drop they look super agressive , but I can't seem to find any.

15x8 with a negative offset is gonna poke out past the fender.

quick reply on the wheels

Thanks guys I think i might do steelies from diamond racing or rewinds with the 15x7 -10, I also dug up an old rx2 thread talking about 4x110 wheels, the thread mentions a company in australia with decent wheels called performance wheels, checked them out and they have some watanabe replicas that look pretty good. If anyone is looking for wheels as well I would take a peek at their selection. Thanks!

I love my factory + wheels in 13" as well, my problem is tire choice. There doesn't seem to be any good options left.

Rota makes 15' knock-offs with a depper, chrome / brushed aluminum lip , you can find them for 700$ EACH . the MSRP was about 350 $ each but they have skyrocketed.

Also good choice on the diamond racing steelies, those are sweet!
