Help with Wheel fitment

Hi guys

I've just bought a set of Federal 595 semi slicks for my FD and I'm having issues with rubbing on the fender at the back and front. I've seen a few guys saying they running the same size tyres as me and have no issues..

Back is 265/35R18
Front is 235/40R18

Wheels are 18inch with the front being 8.5J +25et and the back being 9.5J +25et

What are my options to sort the problem? I'm not too sure about rolling my fenders.

It's not the tire, it's your wheel offset. Either roll the fenders or buy different front wheels.

What offset would you recommend? I'm guessing somewhere in the range of +35?

I would recommend 45 to help maintain stock scrub radius, but 35 will fill out the fender more.

I can get volk te37 18inch 8.5j front and 9.5j rear with a +35et all round. Would these suffice with no modifications to the fenders?

You're only moving the wheel inward 10mm, how badly are you catching the fender on your current setup?

I'm rubbing about 15mm from the side of the tyre onto the tread. I have found some Enkei +42et that have stopped the rubbing but the flush look is now gone. So I'm just going to play around with different spacers to see the minimum et I can go without rubbing. Thanks for the help

I can't find the name of these wheels?

"flush look" is for kids. Fully functional cars are timeless!
