Question Replacing eccentric shaft pulley

Hey,

I have an engine with the eccentric shaft pulley off, how do I know which direction to put the pulley back on? I guess it can only go on in 4 different ways, which one is the right one?

thanks

Then he has to remark his timing, right? I thought there was a little hole cut into the pulley that lined up with a mark on the snout...

Keyway in the 9 Oclock position and then put the timing mark with the pin.

Just the pully?

I just bolted it on and made a mark by the pin in the front covor.

Though, I have been known to do things wrong.

he is referring to the pulley section not the hub. Unlike the pre-81, the 81+ can be installed in 4 different ways.
