Hello;

I purchased a new drive shaft for my 82 off Ebay from the "driveshaftstore". They shipped fast and the shaft itself is great with grease fittings in the u-joints.

My question and concern is that it did not come with that shield that's around the yoke on the end that fits into the transmission.

What do you think? is this something to be concerned with ?

I bought a rebuildable/greaseable one from Mazdatrix that didn't come with the sield either several months ago. No issues.
