The 1980 harness is still in the car, fully attatched bu it has a 1985 engine, will the harness match this engine?

 

Can you make the later engine run, yes, will all of the emissions work, probably not. In my sig line is a link to the FSMs and factory wiring diagrams. Download the FSMs of both years, along with the wiring diagrams and the carb manual. There is a difference in both the carbs and emissions. If emissions aren't a worry, the rats nest removal write up is in the FAQs.

Short answer is they do not match but can be made to work.
