Porting a GSL-SE

Porting a GSL-SE
I am looking for a discussion on porting a GSL-SE. What can I get out of it (HP) and what type of port would you use? I have read that it is not work the time or money. But, Grass Roots Racing had Tri-Point do a "half-bridge port" on their 13B for their Rosprit.
I have looked at the archive and run a search and have not found much info. The one really helpful thread was (https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...=gslse+porting).
Some folks say pull the actuators for top HP, and other folks say leave them in for low-end torque.
What do you think?

Port it.
Big street port.
Remove sleeves (they will imped the air flow if you port reasonably large)
about 200 flywheel hp with stock 9.4:1 rotors
PM me if you want more specs or dyno sheet

Well,
I personally owned a GSL-SE that was street ported after the engine needed a rebuild.
It was a monster, ran a 14.53 (best) and mid 14's all day long, on pump gas. BTW, it still had the entire interior, Stereo, subwoofers, etc.
Other mods were: E-fans, Headers, straight pipe to prima-flow, Cone Intake for the MAF, stock 6-port actuators, the sleeves, and the Fuel Injection.
So, I guess it may or may not work for you, but I smoked the living **** out of stock TII's in the 1/4 mile.
Stoplight to stoplight, was even more embarrasing for them.
Back then, (early 90's), the only street driven N/A rotary that beat me was a Suzuki Samurai with a 4port 13B Bridgeport.
I am just saying that It depends on who does the porting, and how it was done. I know it can be done quite well.
