If you take a stock 12A to 10k-15k, it's more likely you'll simply suffer catastrophic bearing or rotor or housing or E-shaft damage. Bad things happen at 8500 and bad things happen quickly over about 10-11k. Fortunately you have to be a complete dumbass to get one even up to 8500 in stock form, unless you manage to downshift instead of upshift at the wrong time. Or, as the nursery rhyme goes:

Round and around the Firebird track
The engine was really revvin'
Shifted to Second gear instead of Fourth
Pop! goes the engine!

What "pressure" would be generated?

That doesn't happen with RX-7s, if you're talking about flywheel/clutch explosions. All damage happens in front of the firewall.

So all you have to worry about is slicing the fuel lines, or the brake lines, or shattering the master cylinder, or the steering gearbox...

well call me a dumbass, all i need is an answer. the throttle stuck, someone stuckit in nutraul. reved way passed the ending point. so what i'm askin is the vent in the oil spout. would it be possable for the oil to come out of there from pressure build up inside the engine? i know when they are plugged there is pressure there and i've heard that on turbo's you need the vent open. so, reving it that high, would it cause oil to come out?
it starts fine now and no oil is comeing out, so i'm trying to narrow down where the oil came from.

I don't see how revving the engine would cause pressure buildup.

If the engine survives the next 50-100 miles, it'll probably run a good long time yet. What is the concern is if there's anything that got damaged but hasn't failed yet.

Took mine higher than I wanted one time and found oil on the bottom of my hood. My oil cap is also cracked. Now my oil level was a bit high from the premix. It has not happend again, I think it was a combo of the high oil level and high revs.
