which oil injector lines for my 12A?

Need some help. The 2 oil lines from the omp to the carb in my 12A are old and breaking. I need to replace them. I went to Mazdatrix.com and tried to find the right part #. They have a short line (14-670B-8871) and a long line (14-660B-8871) for 12A. Does anyone know which one is the right part to get?

1 of each size, since there are 2 oil lines and one line is shorter than the other.

Wouldn't normal vacuum lines work? Maybe a short length of nylon line to see how they're injecting...

Hmmm don't think that would be a very good idea. Ever get oil on a vacuum line, and you want to run oil thru it. Did ever think if it was a good idea, mazda would has save their pennies and cut that corner?

If it fails to inject oil, whats the worst that can happen?

THINK......

If you are going to ditch the OMP then you remove it and then make cover for the hole.

Then you will have all the fun of buying 2-stoke oil and pre mixing every time you top of the tank with gasoline.

For a street driven rx-7 I still haven't seen the advantages of pre-mixing. I'm a lazy **** so i'm keeping the omp. Right now to compensate for the broken line I'm adding some MMO in the tank, hopefully will get the new lines before this tank empties out...

yeah I could. The stock lines are already bent at the right places and are just right. I got them today from Mazdatrix.

I used clear vynal tubing for my OMP lines. The stuff you get at the auto parts store for "windshield washer fluid line".

It never cracked or split.
It never came off.
It did slowly harden, just like the stock lines.
It was clear so I could see that oil was moving in the line.
It was cheap and easy to replace.
It used the stock OMP wire clamps on each end.
