Oil cooler removal, what socket?

Anyone happen to know the right socket to take the big oil cooler line off the engine block? A 15/16 sort of fits, but not snug enough to remove it. Must be a big-*** metric of some kind.
Thanks!

You need one wrench to hold the fitting in the block, and another to turn the line, in case you didnt notice...

Right, two adjustables for the front line. I was having trouble with the rear one, a 15/16 was rounding out the bolt. I'll pick up a 25mm tomorrow.

I used an adjustable wrench on mine, too.. but it's max width was 25mm and I had it adjust the whole way open.. test fit the socket before you take the tag off.. my wrench may have been off and I don't want to screw ya out of $7...

Are you referring to the banjo bolt that holds the long cooler line towards the rear of the engine? If so its a 23mm.

no its 24mm i've got that and a 25mm... its cheaper if you get the head that pops into the rachet... the 25 is for the hose and the 24 is for the fittings... i assume that this is a GSL-SE...

Mine came off with a 24mm and an adjustable. Had to use a 'persuasion' bar to free mine. Total PIA.

Yes, its the one big line on the rear of the engine.
Gues I'd better pick up a 23, 24, and a 25!

Sears doesn't have a 23mm socket unless you buy a whole set, I just bought a 23mm combo wrench and used that. Not sure about SE's, but the lines on non SE's have a 26mm end on the line and the aformentioned 23mm for the banjo.
