OH Nikki Carburetor Re-Install Help (please)

I am having an issue with the carburetor currently installed on my 1983 Rx7. Currently, the car utilizes a Holley 400-something (I don't know, I bought it that way), and that carburetor is too big for the engine and is causing flooding issues (as well as having a broken secondary). Also, the stock mechanical choke is not connected to this carb (idk if this model has an electric one or not). Regardless, I have a Nikki carb which was given to me in "fully rebuilt" condition - so I am hoping that it is ready to go and able to be bolted on without much issue, but I really don't know much about carburetors in general, but specifically the Nikki, as this is the first carbureted vehicle I am working on. Does there exist a Nikki carburetor installation manual/guide somewhere that I cannot find? If so, please show me the way. If not, is there one of you out there who has re-installed the stock carburetor before who can help me? I have attached a few photos of my carburetor as it sits out of the vehicle right now (the holley is still on there as it sits).

Please help me solve this issue. I will be eternally grateful as I have tried to find a guide somewhere to help me out, but have been unable to do so, and thus, unable to drive my car very far without flooding and smoke as it sits.

Or, even better, if there's any of you who think you could best help me in person and live in the Cleveland area and would be kind enough to come out to help me, that would be amazing!
Thanks in advance to all who take the tine to read this.

Here are the photos of my Nikki carb.

Where do these wires go?

? Is this possibly where I attach the choke cable?

That carb is not complete for a factory install. Since this seems to be your first go at an RX-7 carb, I'd stick to a factory install which includes the rats nest.

Get the factory service manual here and do a lot of reading and looking at pics. There is also a cab rebuild manual that is a good reference. I would not suggest a rebuild yet though.

How was the holley mounted? You need to have a nikki intake to mount the nikki. If the holley used a RB intake manifold, that won't work without some kind of conversion plate and even then it would probably not be optimal.

I have an extra stock intake manifold (and parts for another 1.5) that the previous owner gave me. So, if I replace the Holley Carb do I also need to replace the intake mainfold? I can send a photo of the manifold that is on the car currently.

I know this is a dumb question, but, what does it mean to stick to a factory install?

This would mean putting it back together with all the bits as it came from the factory. We see it all the time on here where someone will purchase an RX-7 that runs like crap or not and the the first thing they do is to remove all the emission control parts and bits they think they do not use. In your case, you bought it this way.

Granted, removing bits can be done, but it requires someone that has the knowledge and understanding of RX-7's. When parts are removed, it makes it very hard for us to help because there are a lot of variables. Putting it back together like factory means it's easier to troubleshoot and you can follow the service manual procedures and know what your dealing with. Once it's running good in this state for a while, then modifications can be made.

I see. Is there any way to tell what has been removed and if it is installable as is? I also believe I have extra parts to this carb if I am missing some. Is the best course of action to rebuild this carb and take note of what is missing?

Where in Ohio are you located? I have plenty of parts and 20 years of RX-7 knowledge to help you out.

I would use the stock intake manifold when using the original carb. The carb you have is extremely stripped down and will not utilize all of the original connections. Not all the parts are there for the vacuum operated secondaries which is scary. I'll shoot you a pm with my cell number.
