NC MSD blaster coils.

can i replace the stock ones with these?

would thay work? i heard some where u gotta buy ones that are able to be mounted sideways..just a bit confused.

Yep. Works fine for me. Eventually they may leak, but mine haven't and they've been sideways for about six months.

I didn't notice much of a difference, but it never hurts to upgrade old parts.

If you're going to replace those, replace everything. Cap, rotor, plugs and wires.

And they bolt right into the stock location.

For an extra ~$11 each you can get the blaster 2s that are built to be mounted in any position if your worried about the oil filled 8202 ones leaking.

I have had them mounted sideways for almost 3 1/2 years with no problems. I may even add one to my 4runner now.

I have two MSD Blaster # 8222 coils that that can be yours for $50.00 plus shipping. Mounting a coil side ways makes no difference. If a coil leaks anything it's junk anyways.
