new front lip idea.

so since I can't find an after market lip for my car, I decided I would use one from another car, an 86 ford ranger to be exact. The lip needs very little modification to fit, and looks amazing, pics will come in the next couple of days.

As long as it doesn't look like the one from the guy that made it out of gardening liner...

I'm having trouble uploading the pics...grrrr. But just as a quick question, what other types of front lips have you guys used? Before this, I contemplated using a zenki 240sx lip, but at 100-175$ a piece, I didn't want to have it not fit, or require too much modification

How come a lot of people have problems uploading pictures? Should I write a FAQ as to how to get them from your PC to the computer, then onto the internet hosted and finally onto the thread!?

ugh why even make the thread before you learned how to post pics? I'm genuinely pissed off that you excite me, then your retardation is the reason I can't get what I wanted.

I know how to post pics guys, my computer is acting stupid, and it won't recognize the camera or the memory stick it self. I'm buying a new dell laptop today, so pics should be up tonight or tomorrow.

Looks cool. I really wish they had a nice front lip kit for FB's =/.
The one Hozzman has is awesome.. too bad the people who made it designed it so it drops really low in the front, ruins the whole thing!

Yeah, that's the problem with alot of lips I've tried before. Alot of them drop down too low and look like ****, that's why I like this one, and it litterally takes about an hour to cut, and install. I'll be doing a full write up in the next couple weeks, I used one of the stock holes that the grill support mounts to, it centers it perfect. I'd reccommend heating it a little bit with something(blowdryer?) so it'll conform a little better.

i have been looking at a front lip for some time,
i found this at the local rubber supplier
its a universal rubber wheel arch flare, the 4wd style
it came in a roll and could buy it by the meter
i have it sitting nice n straight outside in the sun,
so its straight when i put it on!!!

i am surprised, it looks good. Before I do it myself, may i get a profile shot? I kind of want to see how it drops from the form in front of the tire, or if it fits in the form of the front end.. it really looks nice from the front

I'll try to get a profile shot up soon...it's hard because it's always dark by the time I get off of work, and it's been raining here the last couple of days. This lip is awsome though, and can be had for about 10$ at a local junkyard.
