Buy one!
You're just asking for trouble. two hours of screwing around worth of your time is no doubt worth much more than the couple bucks the gasket costs.
That and they send rubber O-rings with it.
Use just a dab of KY to get the O-rings to stay put while you reinstall the manifold.

I have never purchased a Gasket. I always make my own using the Paper Gasket Material. (I dont like cork as it get damaged very easily if you over tighten it). Making your own is pretty simple, 2 ways: 1) Trace your old one 2) Place the gasket paper ontop of item, and gently hammer the paper all the way around. It will cut itself to the shape. Never had issues.
