Depending on the effect it has on seals (of which I am unsure) it might help. Autozone carries it for about $6.00 a bottle...

I don't know that it will help any of those issues. I do know that it solved my oil control ring problem, but other than that I make no claims. However, I do believe that for 7 bucks it can't hurt to try it...

one bottle is one quart? 2 quarts or 2 bottles mix with 3 quarts of 20w50? did i read it correctly? or just substitute one bottle or one quart for 4 quarts of 20w50? btw since im posting what does imo, mmo, etc mean? it took a while for me to find omp which is oil metering pump aka oil pump right? right next to the inner exhaust manifold header pipe?

IMO = In my opinion
MMO = Marvel mystery oil
OMP = Oil metering pump

The OMP injects oil from engine (oil pan) into carb. This helps lubricate the internal engine parts as there is no other way to do it other than to premix (like a 2 stroke motorcycle). If you run without adding lubrication to engine internals, the result is engine failure.

I read this post and decided to try out a bottle, and I have noticed a difference. My car does not smoke half as bad on decelleration now as it did before. I plan to use this in the future to possibly illiminate the problem completely. Thanks for the tip!

Unfortunately, dowel pin leaks are usually from an o-ring that has not only shrunk, they usually crack, and that is when they start leaking. The only sure fix for that is a tear down. For the mop leaking, that is a relatively easy fix with new o-rings and gaskets. If they are worn internally, to the point of leaking, they can be easily found used from another forum member.

is there a thread or a write up of how to change o rings and gaskets for the omp? would it be easier to buy a new one? or change the parts on my existing one?

There was one recently. It may have been in the 2nd gen section.
