garrett to4e 1.15a/r expectations???

I bought this to4e 57 trim with a 1.15 exhaust a/r and p trim turbine. I haven't installed it yet but was wondering if it would be a good setup for street use. Should I expect heavy lag due to the 1.15 a/r and relatively small turbo???

The compressor will be a good match. Close to 400WHP capability, or around there, with a usable power band.

Do you have size specs on the turbine? The A/R is you have is rotary-friendly. Single or divided?

It says p-trim turbine and thats a good sized one :-)
You should be able to reach 400 but not much more, spool will be good aswell, is it BB or journal bearing?

I guess I see things a little bit different. Doubt you will see 400rwhp out of it (unless you plan on running 18-20psi), and the 1.15 is too big for street use (well for spool). I would go for a 1.0 minimum.

the ar 1.0 gave me full boost (16psi)at 3200rpm with a even bigger comp wheel then the t04e (i had a t04s 60-1).
this was a stock block s4 engine....with a rew and/or a ported engine the 1.15 will be better i think especially if you have. large port

Thanks for the input. I forgot to mention that it's a journal bearing with a divided housing.

For comparison, I was also running a to4s, with a 1.0, stock port 13B, divided manifold, dual wastegate setup, and hit 9psi by 3200rpm on wastegate spring (no boost controller to assist spool up)

With a 1.15, I wouldn't expect full boost by 3200rpms. Hope it works out for you tho.

Run it and see how you like it. If it's too laggy, swap to a .84. The .84 is well matched to the HP potential of the compressor.
