The spelling and grammar in this thread has really improved, the only recent mistake I can find is in a comment by 85 FB, who points out that "human intelligence... is effectively what seperates us from orangutans".
Of course that would be "separates".
But what trochoid says is true, intelligence and literacy are two different things. I have a neighbor who is a genious at all things mechanical or structural and he never finished high school. He's the guy I turn to when I can't figure it out.
Anyway, I ran over a curve once, when I was about 24 in my 1970 green VW bug. I had long hair at the time and was removing a short-haired wig I had bought to get a job with a gas leak detection company. So I'm yanking off the wig on my way down the driveway after work and all that hair got in my way and I hit a curve. Can we say "Duh"?
So, to answer the guy's question about what to do when you do a really stupid thing like this, you learn from it then jack up the car and check out the damage.
It ain't rocket science.

The original poster clearly showed numerous signs that he was American who spoke perfect English but couldn't type out a decent sentence.
The only point I am trying to make is that just because someone cannot spell correctly, or have proper sentence structure does not mean they are not entitled to common courtesy. It's amazing how everyone knows what he is asking though!
And, I'm guessing that you, RX7doctor, are from another culture, am I correct?
Born and raised in the USA.
So appearances are not always as they seem.

And as far as courtesy, I was not the one who jumped on the guy's case about his spelling. If you check the first page, you'll notice that Trochoid and T G were the ones that did that. I was simply the one who defended everyone else's reasons behind wanting the guy to type out a coherent sentence and question. I don't outright bash on someone who misspells. I just ignore it and try to understand it as best as I can. FYI.

I posted my 1st post as I did because I couldn't understand what he was asking. Did I have an idea, sure, but that's not the point. This is a technical forum, and we, um, get technical.
Proper grammer, sentence structure, descriptions, part names, yada yada yada, are critical in being able to diagnose, troubleshoot and help. My initial impression of the poster was he had just wrecked his car, was under the influence of whatever and was panicked. Based on that initial assumption, what I said was kind and not what I would've liked to have said.
Yes, we are a World forum and I give as much help, leeway, understanding as I can for members with English as a 2nd language. But when it comes to US members who post and I have no clue what they are trying to say/ask, I'm ashamed and saddened that they have that poor of comminication skills. It's even more irritating when the wannabe ganstas post, ****, Valley Speak was bad enough enough in the day. Listening to dumb blonde speech is one thing, listening to some clown that thinks putting a cap in your is cool is another.
We are all here for one thing, our 7s, 'it ain't Engrish klas'. We can all do 2 things things better, proofread our own posts, and quit picking on each other's.

To the original poster - just check everything that was hit, and in the locations that were hit first. You will want to go over the entire car, but the places that were hit are the first logical places to look.
Great diversion and diffusion, thanks for the chuckle.
Thanks..

Well, after looking thru some of his previous posts I must say that he does know how to use proper English when he wants to.
So Trochoid, it looks like your assesment may be correct Sir.
Maybe after he said. "What should I check first?" I should of responded with something like. "Your blood alcohol content?"
I'm just wondering when he is going to chime in and fill us in.
Ok, enough of thread crapping today.
Normally Glitch, thanks for getting back on the topic.
To all my fellow rotoheads, thanks for the debate work out.
Thanks..

I did a simaler thing a while back... except I only bent the crap out of my right rear rim (which I fixed with a wrench and a pipe), and skuffed the bajesus out of my front right rim. The only problem I have now is that my rear end is offset. I noticed this after I did my fully poly eurathane bushing swap. I did everything including the Watt's link. I am just wondering what exactly I did....
I know I sorta highjacked this thread.... but at least it is on topic lol.

Did you tighten everything up while it was in the air or after you lowered it to the ground?

Look im playing the worlds' smallest violin.
It's just grammer, and it's just a forum. Nobody has to fill out a test to post on the RX-7 club. Please stop telling people what they can and the cannot post. That to me presents a control freak. Yes this post was only to "Certain" people. Not all of them were doing wrong. Most of you probally scared the poor guy away.
Thanks

Well guys, hopefully I can close this out by pointing out that "grammar" is spelled with two "a's", not one, as most of our otherwise flawlessly spelled posts have it.
But please, don't change your spelling habits on my account, the mistakes are entertaining and informative! All in fun and for the sake of learning, I'm with Nicholas, everyone should feel welcome.
