Carb Stripping Help Please

Hey, new to the forum, I was wondering what I can take off my carbeurator that I don't need. I have already removed the rat's nest. What else can I take off that will make this damn thing simpler?

By the way, I do have A/C, but I just took out the pump.

Any help would be much appreciated, seeing as I am retarded when it comes to carbs.

Did you switch to mechanical secondaries? That's always a good step.

ha^, look like if you get that weber for 40 bucks it will need a rebuild or something, thats cheap. You will also need the intake maniflod too. Welcome to the forum. it seems like you already know the seaarch button, good job, also check out the faq page and the archives too if you haven't already. Good stuff to read in there and help you out with ?s you might get answered jsut by searching. God bless

I'm definently goin with the Weber, but I think I'll mod the Nikki too, just for fun and learning...I found the Weber in a guy's barn that had HUNDREDS of old carbs (mostly solex) I dug through many a sloex and dellorto to find the weber. I think its an IDF, but not sure. I'll try to get pics up as soon as I buy it. I'm in the middle of a rebuild so I can't try anything carb stuff yet.

The Dellorto was the same style as the Weber, but I hear parts are a bitch, so I'm leaning towards the Weber. The Dellorto is a DRLA 45. I might be able to get it off him if anybody wants it.
