Thanks for the compliments

From what I researched, BC is still a relatively new company. I couldnt find any reviews online for the RX7 setup, but found a lot of BC coilover reviews for other cars. Every review I found was mostly positive, the only complaint that some people mentioned was that there was sometimes a clunk sound coming from the front. I haven't heard this yet, but sounds like a non-issue anyways.

I had my car at a performance shop this weekend for help with an AN fitting, and the guy told me I was adjusting my rear end wrong. He said the ride height is actually adjusted by spinning the body of the shock, not the spring perch. Does this make any sense? I thought the shock is designed to prevent bounce or rebound, but doesnt actually affect ride height, right? I thought only the spring height affects ride height. Can any clear this up for me?

With a real coilover I would think this would be true. With your setup the spring accounts for ride height. The shock adjustment is for adjusting the tension on the shock. You should ask BC to be sure tho.

It would make sense to me that they move in conjunction with one another, raise and lower the spring to adjust height, and raise and lower the shock to keep it within the appropriate operating range.

This^^

The way a coilover work is you adjust preload for corner weight, and then adjust the body for height more or less
