Just finished installing my S-AFC...
... and everything seems to be working. Now I'm ready for the dyno tomorrow to set it up. One noticed though when I was checking the RPM on the S-AFC. It is not the same with the stock gauage. At idle, my stock gauage reads +- 750 while the S-AFC stays around 500. Is this normal or something is wrong with my stock RPM gauage? It hink 500 at idle is really low. Any idea guys?

S-AFC
Let me know what your settings are on yours because I have similar mods and I don't have a dyno close by.
I have also noticed the difference in rpm readings. I think that the S-Afc is more accurate because it is just a digital reading straight from the ECU but without the guage that could or could not be accurate getting in the way.

ok, i took her out for a spin and here are some reading comparisons:
750 (stock) - 500 (safc)
3500 (stock) - 2600 (safc)
4500 (stock) - 3000 (safc)
as you can see, it is over 1000 RPM off.

I'll post my results.
yup, it's 99% sync all the way up. Now i can really tell the idle is not steady because the numbers are going up and down. But I noticed that the idle is smoother now. My idles used to move bet 700 and 900 and now it stays at 750'ish.

I believe the S-AFC and tach get their RPM signals from different points...The S-AFC gets it from the CAS, the tach from the trailing coil. But I could be wrong (probably am).
