MagnaFLow: single/dual 20", single/dual 24", dual/dual 24", center/center, or offset/center?

Hmmmm... I guess I could look at the bottom of my car, but which one is the best?

Well.... my car has a stock center/dual stock(i guess) muffler. Question is....will a magnaflow actually improve the exhaust flow over the stock muffler?

Also.... how much will a RB muffler improve over the stock muffler? <---(as far as flow is concerned)

^^^Forget that question. I guess I can only get the one that'll fit.

I just measured my factory muffler. 18" long. So, you can go with something like the 14245 for about $83. Center/Center. Add a tip or your choosing.

Yeah, I just measured mine to make sure. it's 18" too. Oh, now I see you've got the exact same car as me anyway. Cool.

Dont waste you time or money on the RB muffler! I have one and ran at the track with and with out and with out is much better, much better! On a slick track I got 10.0 seconds in a 1/8th mile then took off my mid pipe and ran only headers and easily got 9.6 while spinning my tires off the line and through second. Better response and better power! ! !

Once many years ago my muffler died and I went without one for a while--just used straight pipes where the muffler had been. I had a RB presilencer and header; it really wasn't all that loud.

Are you deaf?

I have the RB header/single presilencer into the stock canister and my car is quite loud. I can only imagine the ear splitting that would occur if I didn't have a muffler on there.

I am considering a Magnaflow, so let me know how it goes excitingleopard.

I am with KYPREO on this one. A custome made exhaust is the only way to go. I know the RB is a good exhaust for stock means. However, it is too small for a larger ported motor and forced induction. For $700 you could buy a lot more for your car then pipe. Save your money and buy a welder

A good power based NA exhaust.
RB uncollected header, 2 2" runners collecting just before axel to a 2.5" to 3" axel bend, to a Dynomax race straight through muffler. Cost around $300

www.iscracing.net also sells a large lower budget setup....in sections too
Good luck

Headers only is very loud! But when at the track is more exciting and more power! MORE power!
