lol, yea thats what you get from 20 years and 114 thousand miles of abuse

Its a super strong cleaner/degreaser. There are several different brands that have a different name on the bottle but its the same stuff. Purple Power, Power Clean, and Castrol Super Clean are all the same stuff. You will know if it is the right stuff because it is actually purple . I know autozone carries Power Clean, and if you have a local store, they might have Purple Power or the Castrol Stuff. Whatever you are cleaning, after you soak it your not supposed to let it dry until they are rinsed off, so I completely submerged the rotors in a bucket full and let them soak overnight. the next day i rinsed them really good with water and let them sit and dry. Also, your not supposed to use it on aluminum. As you can see, it works really well, you just have to read the back of the bottle and follow all the directions and warnings carefully.

hey does anyone know what the purpose of the circular recesses in the corners on the side of the rotors? they arent consistant - some have the one big circle with 2 little ones, some just have one big one, and some dont have any. are they just a side effect of the manufacturing process?

I believe those recesses are how they balance out each rotor. They just removed some material here and there to get it balanced. Or at least that's what I think.
