I am getting huge biceps!
Haha. Well, let me clarify... A friend and I tried to tighten my steering since the wondersteer claimed about 4 inches to the left and right of the center in the steering wheel. Well, wondersteer is gone! But not it is so tight, I can literally go through a sweeping turn, turn the wheel, and let go. WAY too tight, and I am worried about accelerated worm gear/steering box wear. Now, when I go to loosen it (I remember using a chisel and hammer on the very thin nut to break it lose and tighten it), will the wondersteer come back? I have a complete set of poly bushings for front and rear, and I am thinking that would clear up some of the slop.
If anyone has any imput that would be much appreciated! I followed a diagram/how to I found in the archives (it was a while ago, may still be there or not), and I want to redo this, but if there is another way...

Worked great for me, and was much simpler than the method listed above.
To the original poster: loosen that **** up right now, before you break something. It is a trial and error situation, and it may take a few times before you get it just right. But if it is steering as hard as you have described, you went way too far overboard and are destroying the gearbox as we speak.
