How do you remove this bracket?

No bolts, doesn't look like it was welded on or anything.

It's spot welded, like most of the car. You can remove it with a grinder, or a spot weld drill bit. I have never had one(a spot weld drill bit), or seen one in person But trochoid has spoke of them, and I recently have found them on ebay. I have been meaning to aquire one, but a grinder is a crude and effective alernative, and fun.

Stu, isn't that the bracket that holds your windshield washer reservoir? That could come in handy when you put the car back together.

That is what I was thinking about doing. Drats. I didn't want anything on that side of the engine bay. Looks like I will have to drill a hole for the coolant line to go to.

"The car never see's rain."

Stu isn't the problem, dirt is. Even race cars keep their windshield washers for use during the race. But if you are going for that clean look I guess that's one way to do it.

Yes, there is nothing on that side but the brake hard line and headlight motor. I am trying to keep it from having anything on it:

That brake line has gotta go. Along with that passenger side headlight. I mean, you only need one headlight. And that tacky 2nd gen strut mount cover up stuff, that can go. I mean, you want to be proud of your strut mounts.

Stu what about that coolant hard line? Doesn't that have to go as well.

I second the 2G strut covers, tacky. Its not a 2G car is it? No, I didn't think so.
