Holy Hell!!!

Just for the hell of it before leaving work tonight I took the air box lid and air filter out to hear what it sounded like under load. I took off out of the station and blasted the secondaries. Holy ****! I expected it to be pretty loud but it was a roar, I didn't think a rotary, a carbed rotary at that, had so much intake roar. It's pretty sweet sounding I think. The car was also notable more responsive as well. Not really sure why I'm posting this, but there ya go, try it, it sounds cool.

The sweetest intake roar I ever heard was from a gene burg weber IDA 51 on top of a 13b P. port. The intake was so loud you could hear it across the track... this was at palmdale btw.

when i bought and owned my old rx-7(84 gsl) the guy who owned it before me, put one of those foam edelbrock air filters on top of it, and plugged all the lines, now it sounds regular untill you put the pedal all the way to the floor (the secondaries opening) then its a whineing....muffled by the hood it sounded exotic hehe

hhahahahaha, vibrate your mullet, that rules. As for pissing off neighbors, I doubt it would, unless you have a really gay neighbor. Its damn loud though, i was really surprised.
