Got pulled over today after turning up the boost, just a warning:)

I haven't had the car running that long but I got pulled over again today and it was 100% my fault. No if ands or butts about it. But, I still managed to get off with a warning.

I control the boost with a bolt an nut on the wastegate. needless to say changing the boost in my car is a PITA. I have to jack the car up so I can get to the bolt and nut. Anyways, Just turned up the boost and it was starting to downpour (thank god). Drove about two blocks and was making a left hand turn to a side street. What do you do in a turn with goobs of power and wet pavement?? You guessed it you let the *** end fly out. It was a very controlled slide but it scared the living hell out of a jogger. I was in second the *** started to slide so I gave it more gas just to push it out course did just stop there. The wheel were spinning like bats outa hell the boost was rising and the wastegate opened. Doesnt sound like much till you hear that the wastegate doesnt dump back into the exhaust. That is just obnoxiously loud. The jogger had all the rights in hell to be scared shitless. then I shift gears and the BOV pops off just to let him know thats the nightmare is almost over. I speed up to the limit of 25 mph and drove along.

The police officer must not have had a good view and his windows were up cause he just explained that the area had a very slow speed limit and that the jogger was give quiet a fright. It was a nice little down pour while he's telling me this. I just explained that I wasnt speeding and the car has an lsd which is unfortunately quite difficult to control in the rain. Also, apologized for nearly scaring the jogger to death. The guy damn near jumped for cover. It was hilarious at the time.

DOES THIS MAKE ME FAT? I need cheeze!!!!! I like it in and straight from a can

Hell, any boost controller thats not under the car would be my friend. I did have the Blitz DSBC on my Z and really liked it. Too bad, I don't have the funds for now. Guess Ill just have to jack the car up when needed

ummm... why else would you want a BOV? BOOST!!! BOV's are just a byproduct of this. OK, the surge of power and sound of a spinning turbo gets me going too..... ziiiiiiiiiiing!

You calling WRC cars rice?

When I get done fixing all the little stuff. Changed the rear brake pads yesterday, found out why the emergency brake dont work. left rear cable is rusted solid it doesnt slide in the sleeve. So off to advance auto I go, 2-3 days for shipping. When I park the car, I have to make sure I leave it in gear or she rolls away. Next is to work on the fuel issue do that this weekend. Its coming along took me about a year and a half to get this far.
