i redid mine, couldn't find, and also didn't want to pay extra for premolded stuff. so i just bought a bunch of 90' bends and about 5' of hose and cut it too fit

That is my next trick. None of the autoparts stores around here have any.

I went to the auto parts store and got some stuff that's close enough. It works, but it doesn't fit QUITE perfectly. One of these days when I have some spare cash I'll buy the real thing from Mazdatrix.

Yeah, I went to Autozone and convinced them to let me look through what they had in the back. Found a few with the right bends and used a pvc connector in one spot to get it right. IIRC the Stealership wanted like 20 bucks per hose, and I had to wait for them to order them.

Just make damn sure that there are no kinks in them!!! The ones to the oil cooler especially...

$50+ dollars for the long one at Mazdatrix is a bit much.

Will hoses off an 85 12a work?
I just replaced mine when I replaced the O rings on the oil cooler. The leak from the oil cooler had just started, thus had not damaged the hoses. Bought the replacement hoses from a local Mazda dealer before I started disassembling the oil cooler. The old hoses look almost new (they are original equipment on a 85 with 59K). The hoses looked good enough that I would not have changed them had I not already bought new ones. Thus I now have an extra set.
