racing beat exhaust

i'm seriously thinking of getting the full racing beat exhaust system for my gsl-se. I was reading on racing beat and the one with the presilencer is interesting to me. does anyone have this system set up and how does it sound? and is there a huge difference without it ...noise and performance wise?

thanks.

The RB header/presilencer/power pulse muffler is one of the nicest things you could ever do for your GSL-SE. It sounds great and the car will reward you with as much as 35 more hp in gratitude.

Total sweetness and no regrets......

One thing I will say though, the more miles I get on the system the better it sounds. Almost like you need to break it in a little. Not to say that it didn't sound great when I first put it on, but I think it sounds even better 2k miles later. And you've gotta love the HP! Oh, and those chrome tips are yummy!!!

i just installed mine a few weeks ago, and it is AWSOME!! It's sounds like a whole new car, and it looks great. Power increase is noticable just revving it; it revs much more freely.

if you got the money, get it!

Buy this setup

http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm

or get the SS header from mazdatrix that has a provision for the 02 and one to operate the 5th and 6th ports.
Then get the dual long primaries from racing beat and the dual tube muffler.
This setup is more money.
This is what I have and really like it.

I have been using the full Racing Beat exhaust header/presilen/duel pipe tip in my '83 12A since about 1990. Love'd it when I installed, still fine... a little rusty, but works good, added noteable power and looks sharp.

I've had my RB exhaust for a few months and the only thing I miss about the old exhaust is being able to breath clean air at stop lights Great power, great sound, never had any problems.

I think this is the link that Fire meant to post: http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....rtNumber=16421
