TX Fb oil pump question.

I recently replaced my old nikki carb with a weber 45 Dcoe carb on my 84 Gsl and it did not come with the rod that adjusts the amount of oil that is pumped into the intake. We were told to just wire it all the open but it tends to smoke. I have been trying to fab one and was wondering if the oil pump still pumps oil when the lever is all the way down?

remove the metering pump and make a block off plate...i do not like pump engine oil into my rotarys...it leaves a lot of carbon deposits on face of the rotors..and one hot day a piece of carbon may come off the rotor and pop......pre mix is the best way for a happy engine . mix in a n/a 4oz for every five gallons...tc-w 2stroke oil......this is what i use....http://www.klotzlube.com/proddetail....5...:icon_tup:

Easier to calculate 1 oz. per gallon. Any TC-W3 rated oil should work.

it depends on what oil you decide to use...some 2stroke oils are thicker then others...if you use castrol go with 1oz pre gal...http://www.castrol.com/castrol/secti...tentId=7040924 .. por oil in the tank first before filling up...
