GSL-SE Power Window Regulator Assembly
The power window assembly has some sliders (rollers?) that seem prone to wear. In my car, they have worn to the point that the window will not stay oriented correctly and, as a result, jams when going up.
See

page 66
The factory service manual
http://wright-here.net/files/manuals...X7(14)Body.pdf
only addresses removing and replacing--not repairing--the assembly.
Has anyone come up with a way to repair the sliders, or is replacement the only option?

mazda usa as of today has 2 passenger side regulators with out the motor in stock, drivers side is NLA. part number is FA02-59-590 L and FA02-58-590 for the RH
the regulator is/was also available WITH the motor for big bucks
when you replace these you also need the glass run channel, 8871-58-605C

the glass run really is almost as important as the regulator, bad glass run and a new regulator won't work. new glass run and old regulator is better

Mine were pretty bad. neither came up all the way, very slow, kept coming off the tracks inside the doors. I ended up replacing the channels and window trim, adjusted the screws on the doors that held the frames (there is a little bit of adjustment there) and did the relay mod for them. Biggest difference in speed was the relays of course. Even after all that, I had to reach inside the doors and slightly bend the bottoms of the tracks inward.
When the windows were brought down all the way, the last couple inches they would swing away from the tracks about 1/2". After bending the tracks, have not come off track once and they go up and down nearly like new.
With door panels off, look inside while moving windows up and down. Lets you see exactly where it starts jamming. Where I thought mine was jamming, there was actually just that extra space between the window and the track. That space lets the window start 'rotating' and it jams.
