End caps on injectors

Hey, just wondering if you guys knew the name for the plastic end caps on the fuel injectors (on the spray nozzle end). I recieved injectors but one is missing the cap and the others is cracked and the local dealership says they cant get this piece seperately

Anyone have some for GSL-SE injectors? Thanks.

Does anyone have a good closeup of what they look like? I just had my injectors rebuilt and now I suspect they forgot the "pintle cap"

Right on.

Did you try the Mazdatrix link? They go on the tip of the injector. If you want, email me and I'll send you a pic of mine.

How tight?

How tight are these supposed to fit, and how far do they slide down...I ordered them from Mazdatrix but I am suspecting that they sent me the wrong size...these don't fit on easily. I slid one partially on with a great amount of force, but it won't go on all the way.

Do these look right?

Right on.

OK well the mazdatrix dude told me to soak them in hot water then slip them on...I still cannot get them to slide all the way down...does anyone know if they are supposed to slide all the way down??

Right on.

What would happen if you don't put them on?

I was wondering the same thing...I don't know what purpose they serve honestly....I know that mine aren't sliding all the way down, and I am worried they will impede the spray from the injector....guess I'll try lubing them with soapy water or oil tomorrow.

Right on.
