electric fan temp switch
electric fan temp switch
i know this has all been a little beat to death but I cant find what I'm looking for
I'm going efan because i currently don't even have a clutch fan or OEM shroud so why not
I'm not a big fan oh hooking it up to a switch i need to remember or hard wiring so its always on with the key.
I want a temp switch and preferably a screw in type not a probe type.
Can i remove the switch on the back of the water pump housing and install a temp switch there? from my understanding that is for the automatic choke release and nothing else since i have a weber and the ability to push in my own choke switch i don't see a need for that.
If so does anyone know the thread pitch of that port?
appreciate the help

I always run my fans at 180 degrees personally, because I like keeping the system as cool as possible. I try to keep oil and water temps at 180 all year, turbocharged applications have a slight exception though.
