Electric fan temp switch.....

Electric fan temp switch.....
I know I can buy the 60 dollar summit or jegs electric fan temp switch. But that seems a little high. Anyone know where to get one cheaper? I know autozone sold them but of course they want a make and model vehicle.
Where can I get one of these cheap? I tried e-gay and didn't find much. Anyone know a make and model vehicle that came with an adjustable fan temp switch?
Thanks...

I bought a Derale #13021 in-line switch from Summit for $24 ... I put it in-line which runs from the water pump neck to the BAC. I did not want to use the probe type in my new aluminum radiator. .... no problems so far

heres one like i have on my car. they work great and you can get them on ebay or O'reilly's for about the same price. oh and it only took me 2-3 minutes to find it on "e-gay"
thats really trashy. what is a reason to do something like that? its usually only around $50 to get a thremostatic fan switch. if you have a manual switch in the car to turn on the fan its going to cause ALOT of problems
thats a really good price

no need for anything else plain and simple
i think me over heating it to much caused my apex to blow months later so dont do a manual switch

I got my adjustable fan controller from Autozone for 18 bucks. They keep it in the back with the parts, not out on the shelf. You will have to go to the parts counter and convince them that they have it. Good luck.
