Then when you open the door the seal pulls away because it's not seated well enough or maybe there's some residual grease on the seal that you applied when installing (like I did)..

When you get a chance you should try cleaning up the seal and the grooves on the door with some hot soapy water and/or solvent like isopropanol to remove any traces of grease, that might let the seal stick on the door better.
This stuff, "Gummi Pflege", is excellent for treating rubber surfaces...not silicon based, leaves a dry (and for you VW sunroof owners out there, a very quiet) sealed surface

Received door seals from Rockauto.com today. They didn't fit! Box said lm-107 mazda rx-7 1979-1985. RockAuto gave a rma so I get a refund minus the shipping. Pisses me off! Three hours shot in the ***. I would like to buy the correct ones from rockauto, have a real life human check them, take a picture, but their site is all automated now. I successfully ordered lm-107's before.
