Well, the exhaust isn't going to work out how I planned......... again
With the muffler kicking out to the side, the muffler will sit too low. So, looks Like I'm just going to be able to fit one resonator and one muffler down the middle and dump it straight to the ground. I'm pretty bummed, I wanted to get this thing really quiet.
crap
I did get a chance to change the color of my front wheels. I'm not ready to buy new wheels so I did my best to hide them in black

That actually looks to be the shadowy reflection of his house.. if you are referring to the large cupped appearing section up by the front wheel arch. You have to look at the reflection in the car's paint and not the car to see it.

Well, went to the driveshaft shop this morning in hopes of simply replacing one end on the driveshaft. The guys there talked me about of that and into building a entirely new race shaft. They wanted $500 but I was able to talk them down to $350. Supposed to pick it up Friday so hopefully I can go for a drive this coming weekend.

What are they making it out of?

Question
Viking, you have put a great project together that actually kick my brain to start mine. But I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.
So far I've got the rear (8.8 with a 3.55 gear LSD from a Bronco for $50), the front tires and Prostar spindle type rims and 2 extra sets of tires M&H and Racemaster in great shape (from a famous Chevette Super Gas that was destroyed back in February for $100. The car, I paid $100 and is a 78 model with a 12a that is going have surgery probably in the island ( Puerto Rico) to put some ponnies to work. Also a got some 29X10.5 slicks ( since I want the car for racing). However, I have a 13b here with me that am going to massage for power and I also have a small block with a few racing items, and a LQ4 with LS1 heads. I need to deside what the heck I want in it, you know.
The questions are: what kind of power you have in yours to move those tires? and what tranny did you plant in your car?
Your car look awesome!!!

Sounds like you're on the right path. I'm only running the stock S4 block and don't plan on pushing much more than 400 hp. I figure this should be good for a high 10 sec pass.
Eventually, I'll go with a newer block and shoot for double the power. I'm using a stock TII transmission.

Looks great Viking!!!!
You inspired me to do a 4link and tubb project. I started about a 3 weeks ago and everything is cut out. Im actually cutting the frame rails to so I can run a wider tire for the strip. Using competition engineerings 4link frame rails. Thanks for posting a thread like this, im sure all of us need things like this to know we personally can do it.
