DIY: Minitub/4 Link
Finally got a chance to cut on the car this weekend. I had to cut out the cage and remove the fuel tank first. I only got one side cut out since it's 19 degrees outside. I still have lots of trimming to do but the 325's fit nicely, I thought that I might have to notch the frame towards the rear but it looks like I don't need to. 2 inches of clearance up top so I might be able to lower it a tad more.

gonna cut the other tub out tommorow so I can get the rearend measured up and sent out to moser friday, then I'll cut out the entire center section this weekend to get the crossmember somewhat fitted in
i hope it warms up, it was 5 degrees in my garage the other day |
Are you using the stock tank or an aftermarket one.
If you are using stock, where might it be relocated to? |
Got the passenger tub cut out and have both wheels in place. From wheel flange to wheel flange, the measurement is 44" 15/16.
My moser axles are for a rearend that's 45" 7/16. I wonder if I can use my axles without having a .5" cut off. I'd hate to have to send off my axles to be cut again. |

Today and tomorrow is a good day to work on it Eric. It's nice and warm outside.
I never asked, you going to attempt driving this on the street at all? |

I never asked, you going to attempt driving this on the street at all? This car will see the street before it will see the track. But yes, it will see the street 99% of the time. |
Hells ya! Keeping it street legal is a bonus!
|
