Today, I had to cut the inner quarter panel lips off. Rolling the lips just wasn't good enough.
Looks like I might need to c-notch the frame at some point if I want to keep it real real low.

As you see in the pictures, it didn't roll freely without rubbing the inner fender lips. I cut the inner fender lips off yesterday , that solved the rubbing problem.
Right now, the axle housing is 2 inches fromt he frame rails. So, something will need to be done with that if I want to keep it this low. Honestly, I'll probably raise the car another inch and be done with it. Or not........

I'll keep this one. I like it . The reason I sold my FD was to buy a house.

****!!!! I wanna replicate that setup on an FC....
so? 325 x 28 tire? Or a 26?
I love the look of the tires. You have what? 2 inches of tire showing between the top of the wheel and the fender? I love how low it is...
I refuse to have the *** of my car flating a foot up in the air.
You better fully carpet it in there.
FULL OF WIN!

I also got the frame rails and shock mounts boxed in. I used 1/8 plate for the shock mounts and 20 gauge for boxing in the top of the frame. I'm not very good at welding that thin sheet metal. Actually, I'm not very good at welding PERIOD
Hoping to get the back half of the car painted tommorow, if the weather is above freezing

Its not about how the welds look, you can always paint over them or brush them with a grinder. Its about how well they hold that monster of an axle in there.
And they don't look all that bad... What are you using MIG?
