Hey guys. I have a 79SA with stock 12A. I converted to the 83FB electronic dizzy and did the 2GDLIDF setup and GM ignitors. I was curious if I could also setup direct fire on the trailing? I have gone through multiple threads and tried a search, but all I've found is talk about it but no definitive answer.

If it can be done, like safely for the engine, let me know please or perhaps point me towards the proper thread or search terms.

 

Nevermind guys. I found my answer.

 

You need a computer to do it otherwise you have to use the dizzy for timing the sparks.
