Hooking up first gen distributer
I have an 85 rx7. I removed all the vacum mess and i'm now left with a couple hoses coming off my distributer. I beleive they are for advance. Do I just hook both these hoses up to my manifold? Also I am rewiring the entire car and there are alot of wires coming off the distributer I dont know about. Can someout lay it out for me? I would like to run a 4 coil setup if thats possible.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Got a Haynes Manual or FSM? They will show the electrical layout. As far as your other questions....
The vacuum advance for the dizzy can either be left open (just take the hoses off) or T the hoses and run the single line to a port on the intake manifold spacer thingy (technical term )
What do you mean by 4 coil setup? If you're asking about direct firing all the plugs, as far as I know you'll have to program up an ignition computer and install a CAS. Goodluck and let us know how you did it
Otherwise, there are few different ways of direct firing the leading plugs which is all that really matters since the trailing are really only for emissions and only add 1-2 HP to the overall cycle. I've got my car set up with the FC leading coil direct fire mod and it works great. Much better than running it all through the dizzy. Once that was done the trailing wires were just moved over to the leading spot (still fired off the trailing coil) for one less gap to jump. Just do a search all the info is on here.
