not necessarily. if you need bumpers. sunroofs, interior parts, dizzy, coil, taillights, and some other stuff, then yes. use the SA oil cooler tho; there are many threads on how to do this.

I have a 1979 SA and I have practically done every upgrade to it except for fuel injection and turbo. I love FBs because of the easiness of parts but I love the SA because they lighter, more old school look of a sports car and rarity. If you do all the upgrades, then you can be better than any FB on any given day......

Ya, this is in the faq page. The differences are basically the bumpers, tailights, seats, interior, side molding is thinner, etc. The SA is years 79 and 80. The FB is 81-85.

They are actually semi-manual chokes. A real manual choke is where you not only have to pull it out to activate, but also push it back in manually to shut it off. The choke has a electromagnetic control assembly that is shut off by a thermal switch in the back of the water pump housing..... Bet you didn't know I was going Teckno on you guys, lol.

Well, the only thing that I can say about the Sa's and the Fb's is that I like them both. Each has their own personal character. And the best part being that they are powered by our little Rotary friend, "The wankel that could". Lol

There are many threads on this forum that have answered that question. Please search first and do some research. Self education is something I respect and admire in new comers. Once your research is done and you still have have specific questions the community can help.
