Cibie Headlight Conversion?

I'm removing what I believe to be a Cibie Headlight conversion from my car. Can anyone confirm it's a Cibie conversion, or the value? Thanks in advance!

Why remove them? Do they not work well or you just want the stock look?

Looks like you will need a set of buckets and the plastic surrounds to fix it back up. I would suggest upgrading the lighting using the blackdragon kit like I did in my write up:

T.g. , how long ago did you do that harness conversion, I really like the results, do you know if they still sell that harness.

Also op just trying to figure out why your taking them out and switching them

t.g Ferrel - The headlights themselves are very bright and have a nice pattern. They work just fine. I'm just like the look of the round lamps better...

They didn't, someone did that on their own.

Along with the BD relayed harness, get the H4 conversion, really puts out a great
beam.

Sell 'em! this was a kit from Back in the Day - and pricey one to (for the time). Its a "legit" aftermarket kit for SA/FB. Standard Cibie lenses, which you can buy new here:

When rectangular headlights came into vogue, aftermarket companies offered conversions for several vehicles. A way to personalize your ride and give it a "modern" vibe. Funny how things come and go. You used to be able to find rows of round headlights, stacked like oil filters, even at department stores. Now, sealed beam lights of all shapes are more like a special order item. Manufactures have transformed headlights on new cars to dealer provided parts. What used to be a $4.00 item is now hundred$ or even thousand$ of dollar$. And it just keeps getting better....
