Smile Chrysler?

I think I'm getting the hang of the search feature and I searched to see if anyone has asked this question and didn't find anything Sooooooo.....

I have an '85 A12 with the igniters on the outside of the distributer. I have converted the lower plugs to a direct fire setup using an MSI 6A ignition box and 2 Blaster coils. Works fantastic. For the trailing plugs I am wanting to use one of the extra Chrysler ignition boxes I have laying around in my garage versus buying something(see pic). I would be firing the trailing plugs through the distributer versus direct fire. Has, anyone tried this before annnnnnnd.... before the rotary lovers and Chrysler haters get going please just answer my question. Thanks!

You have an A12, huh? Sounds good.

Oh to answer your question about the Chrysler ignition module, go for it.

Well it can't hurt to try it. What is that thang anyway? Is it just a coil or is it an ignitor?

Yeah I cut em some slack, he always calls it an A12 for some reason. Probably just trying to stir us up!

It's a Electronic ignitor.

Well if you've put a 12A in a Spitfire I guess you've earned the right to put a Chrysler igniter in 12A.

Go for it, it'll either work or it won't.

But if I were you I'd make a sacrifice to the Rotary Gods first.

might have too much dwell and kill coils easily. for the money, GM HEI 4 pins would be superior.
