carb vent solenoid bad

so, my carb vent solenoid is bad. ('79 s) what is the best way to repair the carb? salvage part? or are they repairable? if anyone has one for sale, get back to me, thanks!

They are no longer available new but you can create a thread in the marketplace section and see if anyone has one available.

Does it not click when 12v is applied? How bad is it. Those things don't really wear out, might be a poor elect connection.
