more carb stuff

got rid of all the emissions rebuilt and all, but what do i do with these 2 things circled ? there both part of the same system i pulled it all out so i got 2 big holes

do i need this ? or should i just fill it with some jb weld or something ?

What year is your carb? Or more importantly, what kind of solenoid was there? Did it come off with 3 screws? Or did it unscrew from the carb?

3 screws then it just pulled out.

Ok, now theres still a big brass bushing inside, pull that out and remove the plunger thats trapped behind it. Now you can cover the big hole. Get a 20mm freeze plug and press it into the hole. The other fitting on the side is for crankcase ventilation, if your not using it, cap it. Or just hoook it back up. Do you have emissions on the car? Shoulda asked that first.

nope all the emissions is removed. what exactly is a freeze plug ?

If its per the tutorial, then you keep the side nipple. Go to the auto parts store and ask for it. Its just a stamped metal plug.
