Spend about $35 at AutoZone and get a brand new lifetime warranty water pump.

God I just dont understand people... You are gonna spend $10 + $10-$12 shipping for a used water pump when a new one is like $30 ?

Some people have to learn the hard way I guess. I wouldn't even trust a rebuilt water pump let alone a used one. What happens when that $10 pump goes bad in 6 months? Are you going to spend another ten bucks? Scrape up some more dough and go buy a new one.

Yes, we are right. And make sure you get a new gasket and get all of the original gasket off before you put the new pump on.

Seems to me I got one cheap at mazdatrix. DON'T use rebuilt or used water pumps. Clean the old gasket crap off, and make sure the hoses are on right and just the right tightness. I usually put some dishwashing soap inside the hose ends to make sure things seat properly. I think new hoses were $5 each at Kragens. Last year I put one in and didn't get the hoses tight enough and worried that the pump was bad until tightening the clamps solved the problem.
