85 GSL-SE with 200k on original rotary, and 85 GSL soon to be my road race car. I got the GSL for free, it had a small engine fire and is now stripped and ready for a performance makeover. I was selling Mazdas in 1985.

Gee, I thought I posted here already. Anyway, I just got my 82 GSL about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Can't quite remember. My short term memory sucks. It's my second car, and I'm only 17. I first owned a 1988 Buick LeSabere Coupe. That thing hauled ***. I am still driving it as the 7 is up on stands and I am restoring it. At least partially.

i will be turning 22 in november and i have owned the following: 4 85 rx-7's 1 s, 2 gs, 1 gsl
1 84 gsl-se
2 81 gs's
1 88 TII
1 87 se
now for the list of other cars i have owned: 1 87 chevy sprint, an 84 audi 4000, a 1990 eagle talon tsi, 86 mustang gt, 95 ford ranger, 86 crx,87 crx, and an 86 grand marquis that i used for a derby.

i currently own only the gsl-se, an 81 gs, an 85 gs, the ranger, and the talon.

my girlfriend claims its a sickness. i say its a love. when i die, i wish to be buried in my rx-7. seriously though, in my mind there is no substitute for the rx-7. it truely is what road and track called in may of 1978, "an enthusiest's dream come true".

I'm 16 soon 17 got my first truck at the age of 12 a dodge 2500 v8. Use it for company use. I am the owner of a prospering buisness and have had a passion for cars since forever. My dad an car enthusiast built his first car at 16 and now its my turn 67 firebird pushing 625 hp. Anyway I wanted to try something new and bought a 81 fully loaded and I mean every available option and havn't looked back. This year I bought a 85 se and am now working on it. I'm kinda young but its never to early to learn about truly the most advanced engine available in the most sexy car out there the rx-7.

yeah wow.. that really surprised me that most of us are ~my age.. late teens, early 20's. I have to say, theres a lot of knowledge on this board, and its cool with the young age.

Pretty cool with the old age, too. I'm 66, own 3 FBs (maybe another by morning!) and can drop any car with my purty Misty Blue 83GS (tokico blues in the corners) on the windy hilly roads around here.

But Fitzwarryne has 10 years on me and enjoys the hedged winding roads of England. Maybe I'll get to meet him when I get my Silver 85GSL shipped over to my wifes house in the south of France.

Age is no deterrent to fun and pleasure! Check it out!

i was 21 when my current FB ('85 GSL) came out and immediately fell in love with it and wanted to buy one, but for one reason or another never got around to do it, and finally 16 years later i got around to buy one, and has been with me for 2 years. How old am I?
