ATF trick:
i took the two leading plugs out and tested the compression. i cranked it with the gas to the floor. 107 PSI on the front, 117 PSI on the rear. i took the two top plugs out then, and poured ATF into the leading plug holes. with all plugs out i simply cranked it with the starter for about 5-10 seconds. i let it sit for about 5 minutes, cleared the ATF by cranking it some more. put two old plugs in the trailing coil holes. compression tested it again with the gas to the floor. 137 PSI on the front, 138 PSI on the rear! this motor has over 100,000 miles on it, im very pleased, and that is a really simple ATF trick. ATF WORKS

Dude,
Take it out for a nice long drive, come back and test compression again. I bet dollars to dohnuts that your compression will be back where it was. The oil itself is helping the compression. As soon as it burns off, it'll go back to normal.
Guys, please don't use ATF on a running engine... it's not good stuff for your engine, really... Read the De-carbonizing article in the archive, and do it with MMO or Amsoil next time!
Geez.. I hope your oil seals don't start cracking up from that... try putting a rubber washer in a capful of ATF and leave it for a while
Anyway, for all my doom-saying, it's all stuff that people gave me as feedback. ATF is what unsiezed my engine, but in my case it was either ATF or an engine rebuild... I did it to save $2000 and it worked... but I don't advocate using it on an engine that isn't "this is my last resort before a rebuild".
