3rd gear is a lil steep
Took my 7 to the track and its not to bad but my third gear is steep, what do u think i could do to it to make third go off a lil better and where to u recommend to shift?

im going to do direct fire ignition gizmo and a header... then eventually new carb set up... then my other 12a ported... but i was just curious to see what else i could do to it

The Kia option is NOT an LSD so be aware of that, a stock change, minimal granted is the GSL-SE center at 4.1 over the 3.909 on a 12a powered 7.

SE 3rd member will only work on S3 GSL. For non-GSL, better bring out the beer and ear plugs. I ran them for years. But now, Im running a kia 4.44 with LSD...good but boring on top end.
Too bad I have several trannies. Otherwise, I would have one specially made with tall 1st gear.
